On 22 and 23 May 2012 the Central Europe Annual Conference takes place in Halle/Saale, Germany. The theme of the conference is “Discovering CENTRAL EUROPE” and the programme includes several discovering tours in the region of Central Germany. Second Chance won’t only participate in the event but will also be a destination of one of these tours during the second day of the meeting. In the afternoon of 23 May participants of all Central Europe projects will have the possibility to visit the pilot project at Hall 14 of the former Cotton Mill in Leipzig. Within Second Chance six artist studios were developed which can be used since this April by young international artists. Participants have the possibility to speak with the project partners from Nuremberg, Krakow and Leipzig and the architect of the pilot investment.
At the same time, the first peer review within the project takes place. After visiting the Hall 14 the partners of Kraków, Ljubljana, Venice and Leipzig will discuss the realization of the pilot project and give suggestions for the elaboration of the foreseen site-specific management plan.
