Municipality of Krakow
Municipality of Krakow is a governmental institution that serves about 750 thousand Krakow’s citizens. Municipality of Krakow has several departments and bureaus.
Second Chance is being implemented by two of them – the Department of Culture and National Heritage and European Funds Bureau. The Department of Culture and National Heritages coordinates the actions of the City in terms of culture. The European Funds Bureau is mainly responsible for coordinating the whole process of applying for external funds for investment and non-investment projects of the Municipality. On the other hand the bureau applies and implements some of the projects itself.
The Museum of Municipal Engineering in Krakow
The Museum of Municipal Engineering in Krakow is one of Krakow’s youngest museums. Founded by Krakow Municipality on 1 October 1998, it inaugurated its first exhibit in 1999.
The Museum carries out some basic statutory aims: it collects, works on, documents and objects affiliated with the history of technology, industry and urban engineering.
Moreover, by organizing various programs, offering its facilities to the public, and presenting a wide range of cultural activities, Museum expands its functions to create multifunctional cultural centre in St. Lawrence District.
