In the immediate vicinity of the former Rog factory, an attractive mobile architecture will be set up, marking the beginning of the renovation of the former Rog factory. The pilot project will function as a small scale model of the future Rog Centre – both in the sense of establishing new partnerships as well as developing planned contents and management model.
The pilot project is planned in a modular way – the 30m2 of surface will serve as a production, presentational and educational space. The pavilion will be dedicated to activities in the field of design, architecture, visual arts and other creative industries with strong focus on collaboration with other sectors (education, research, economy, etc.) and international cooperation.
A 3D Prototyping Lab will be an integral part of the pilot investment. It will offer service of rapid prototyping and will serve as a base for the development of partnerships with small businesses in the field of creative industries, educational institutions, etc. A workshop environment will give everyone – from small children to entrepreneurs – the capability to turn their ideas and concepts into tangible reality. The lab will be a hub where people from different fields can work and experiment, meet, learn and connect.
Second Chance cultural exchanges will also take place within the pilot project.
